so just picked up a new Chevy for my wife and has white leather seats
Which of course when you live in a hot area are very nice so I’m wondering if anybody ever put white leather in a jeep especially one that gets dirty and goes off road and frankly, I wouldn’t care in a few discoloration on it
What do you think? Yay or nay?

My wife had a Navigator that had near white leather seats. If you wear blue jeans expect to be cleaning them often. Every mark, scratch spill, etc showed on them. As they wear and break in, every crease will collect dirt.

If you want white, and you're going to have them custom upholstered, use premium grade marine vinyl. It stays pliable in heat and sun, can get wet over and over, and the material simply wipes clean with an damp cloth.

I had a car with tan colored seats, they were a pain to keep looking good. They showed the wear much more than black leather does. Now maybe the leather and finishes are better now for that was several years ago. I am all in for dark colored leather.

Nay, for all the reasons listed already. Same as white jeans/pants. White works great for a vehicle color in not showing daily dirt & grime as bad as dark colors, but conversely, white for clothes shows every little speck or splash. Friend had a white bench seat in his '64 F250 (reupholstered with leather or vinyl type material) and it was horrible to keep looking good. If I got a rig with white seats, dark covers would be the first purchase I would make.
