Me too however the filter is still a pain, what do you do there?

With the filter? Unscrew it, remove it and replace, being careful not to overtighten!

ahh ok so just let it drip down then? Mine makes a helluva mess when I do it that way.

Get a fumoto with a 90 angle adapter.
