Where to mount E-ZPass on driver's side?

In most cases, all of these stickers or devices are supposed to be installed behind the mirror that way it is not blocking your view.

I just put it in the recessed holder on top of the dash. Never had a problem with the sensors reading it.

I've had mine installed to the left of the rear view mirror, high on the windshield since I bought my JLR in 2018. I have an old EZpass (the 4" square) and it's worked fine in that area, doesn't block the view, and is pretty hard for someone to grab from there if the top's off.

I had it in the dash tray when I first got my Rubi, then mounted it behind the Rear view mirror. so far, I've traveled from upstate NY to Rausch Creek PA, Frederick MD, and York ME. No issues with visiojn or getting read by the scanners on the road.

Another vote for behind the rear view mirror. I’ve only had it fail to be read once and I’m guessing that was the reader not the tag.
