With JLU tires being larger than normal tires, how do you know when it is time to replace. My treads are coming close to the wear markers but still show plenty of tread after the wear markers.

I am planning on getting 33's for my Sport. Just have a hard time replacing expensive tires that still have life in them.

Coming from 20+ years of driving full size trucks, the absolute latest you should wait is the wear markers. Compounds and tread patterns are different than passenger cars. You’ll see an immediate benefit in wet and snow.

I'm looking at new tires when I'm down to 4/32 tread depth. This is regardless of wear bars. I quit running my tires down to the wear bars many decades ago.....
