I believe it just says KZ and is awaiting transport. Dealer said it’s been sitting in the “rail yard” since 3/26. I was thinking the same thing as we don’t have railroads that go from Toledo to Traverse City.

Yeah this is terrible! My brother lives in Toledo and went by the rail yard and can literally see, what we think to be, is my car.

Picture was from my brother in Toledo and not my dealer. I guess my dealer is going to “hot tag” the wrangler in hopes it speeds things up, but I’m not so confident with this lovely virus screwing things up.

The Toledo plant has several rail spurs at the plant where they load them for transport. Traverse City being at the top of Michigan might qualify for rail transport. I know when mine was railed I could see it in a rail yard in Chicago and a day later sitting in a different rail yard in Chicago. Guess it had to switch rail lines. I had time and location of every point it passed an RFID reader. It did sit in the final drop point for a day because of a snow storm.
So unless covid has disrupted transport, such as rail cars carrying cars wait while rail cars with food get higher priority, and the reporting system may not be as update as normal. But your dealer should be able to say the exact yard it is sitting in and the time it arrived there (if it is close you can at least go look at it through the fence). Sitting since 3/26 doesn't seem feasible to me. Do you know if the Michigan governor has grounded railroad workers? Since it is interstate transport it comes under federal control I don't think she can restrict it.

Very good question!!! I was thinking along the same lines. It’s driving me nuts lol. My wife is ready to hop into my 19 grand Cherokee and IM READY FOR MY WRANGLER!!!! Hopefully this “hot tag” thing gets things moving. The dealership has a Rep that is working to get to the bottom of this. My only positive thinking is that it’s atleast completed and ready to roll!

I won't ask you to go look at a video from a year ago of those rail car transports making an emergency stop and the cars crashing through the end of the rail cars and into each other. Think happy thoughts.

The most recent delivery date I've seen is April 29 in Vancouver. But it appears some may still be stuck in transit. My optimistic date of first delivery post re-opening may be June ??.

Just got an update from my dealer and the wrangler is on a transport truck!!!! No eta as of yet, but atleast we are getting somewhere!!!!

So only two more weeks until you get it, yeah! (Isn't the CDC and Michugan procedure to let the vehicle quarantine for 14 days before you can get it?)
