I like a wider stance over stock for looks, but at what point is form vs function a concern? I'm a weekend warrior doing moderate trails on 33's with a 2022 bone stock Rubicon.

Got any law in your neck of the wood about how much a tire can stick out of the fender ?
That what dictate my back spacing over here :(

I have 17x8.5 wheels with 0 offset, which equals 4.75" backspacing. The deciding factor for me was keeping the overall width less than 82". I plan on buying an enclosed car hauler trailer and traveling the country with my Ram 3500, slide in camper, and Jeep in tow. The width between the fenders of the widest enclosed car haulers is 82".

These wheels and my 37x12.50 tires give me a total width of 81" and only poke 1/2" beyond the OEM XR fender extensions, so the Jeep stays much cleaner.
