I actually saw it and really liked it just the way it was, I’ve had so many cars with just a sea of black inside it was different, I had an X5 with brown seats and black interior also and liked that as well.

Its obviously personal preference but just wanted to chime in that there‘s a few of us out there. Judging by how many black and red interiors and how few tan interiors are on the lots though, I will readily agree that I’m in the minority.
I really wish they had brought back the tan/green my 97 Sahara had...loved that Jeep interior.,

No complaints; but I have owned a YJ, TJ and JK. Having experienced the predecessors I will say the JL is the finest most capable Jeep I have experienced.

But if someone is without a previous Jeep experience... I can see how some may have issues with this or that.

I for one have no regrets.

The diesel is the only wrangler available with more range than the 4xe. You guys do realize that a plug in hybrid still works without ever being plugged in right? It still has regenerative braking to charge and utilize the batteries and a fully functional 2.0t that works the same as any non-hybrid wrangler.
I'm confused by this statement. The 4xe is one of the worse total ranges out of the 2021 lineup. The 4xe only beats the gas guzzler 392 in terms of miles until the gasoline tank is empty. Sure, you can add in the factor that the 4xe has regenerative braking, which could potentially achieve more than 370 total miles with a 17.2-gallon tank. But that still doesn't outperform a 4-door with the 2.0T at 452 total miles with a 21.5-gallon tank. While the diesel is the best, sitting at 458 total miles with a 18.3-gallon tank.

‘Hey now, I love my tan seats....
The only negative about tan seats that I've found is they are hard to keep clean. Wife had tan seats in her car and they always looked dirty, even after trying to clean them.

Yes, black seats get dirty too but it's hard to see the dirt unless it's dust.

Hey, maybe tan seats are perfect in dusty climates? Like Utah???

LED lighting should be standard instead of optional. The standard halogen lights are pathetic!
no, no, and no. the halogens keep the ice/snow from building on my headlights in the winter. do not force the bling bling LED's down everyone's throats so we have to buy special heaters for the headlamps.

Yeah apparently unless you're blinding everyone around you the headlights 'suck.' The halogen seem to work just fine for me.

I didn't realize they made the tank smaller for the 4xe, but I've yet to encounter an offroad trip where 370 miles isn't more than enough range? A tj only had a 300 mile range. The Mojave road is probably the longest trail we've done and it's ~100 miles. We've done 300+ mile weekends out in the desert, but we're able to top off the gas multiple times without going more than 10 minutes out of our way. The Toyota land cruiser, likely the most popular overlander of all time has a realistic range of ~300 miles. Add in the fact that a 5 gallon Jerry can will only get the land cruiser 60-70 more miles, where in the 4xe it would be nearly double that for the same fuel reserve. Fuel is not the problem some think it is.

So I guess the IIHS 'POOR' Rating on the Halogen lights means nothing? Properly aimed LED lights aren't blinding but do provide better visibility for your own safety, just saying.

Welcome to Florida where there will never be a need for headlight heaters:CWL:

Like I said, they work fine for me. I've traveled millions of miles with nothing better than halogens. I don't like being blinded by aholes who have no concept of proper aiming or lights with poorly designed internals. I find it odd that people with supposedly excellent lights feel the need to drive around with their highbeams on in traffic, yet it happens all the time.

The stupid battery is under the stupid back seat so a stupid charging port next to the stupid gas cap should have been a stupid no brainer. Too close to fumes/might cause a spark/blow the whole thing up? Stupid...
Of course with that battery extending under the width of the back seats, the placement of a charging port on the passenger's side of the vehicle, where--had it been on the driver's side it may have been an explosive risk--would seem to involve no more work...

then again I don't know if there's some federal requirements or something for the port's location....or maybe they could have just moved it down a bit from its cowl location.....
