What to do next

After a bad experience with RC on a lift kit that I am sending back, I am wondering what next to do. I am thinking there are great trails here and many are stock passable. So now with a new bumper and winch, I am going for 35 inch tires. I don't want to replace the rims yet. I just want to wheel on the trails in Florida. Thoughts? Tire suggestions? I don't drive a lot since I work from home but I also will be heading down to Key Largo from Tampa and home to TN so need an aggressive tread that isn't going to drone me to sleep.
