I had a metalcloak lift installed by a local shop and I just noticed that on both sides in the front there's a backet that is not attached to anything that looks like it was previously securing some lines. I don't see any obvious place where it should be connected so I'm assuming it was connected to something that was removed for the lift install. I don't see an easy way to remove this from the lines either so I'm not sure what to do. Can anybody provide some advice?

That’s the brake line, and was disconnected to allow the lines to flex with the lift. If it was still connected they could be stretched or ruined and start leaking. There are a number of ways to remove the metal piece, you can look for videos. I removed mine, and bought a relocation kit for the lines.

they bolt to the lower oem control arm. you can pry the bracket off the brake hose but a lot easier while it is still bolted to the stock arm..you could just use a wheel cutter and zip it off just under the hose but be careful not to hit the hose..

Excellent, thanks for the feedback! I'm going to figure out how to get them off tomorrow and I'll look into a relocation kit.
