I have run all sorts of tires on y rigs. I had a set of the Falken aLL terrain the older version and ran 88,000 miles anthem finally took them off even thought hey were not down to the wear bars went to Keely Springfield but by 20k miles they were howling wolf for tires, now running Cooper ATP discount tire version and they are great for almost all things except maybe deep mud.
I had the old Falken Wild Peaks as I use to have a sponsorship from them back in the day when I use to build some show cars. They were great in when I lived in Vegas (sand, dirt, mud and heavy rain) but when I moved to Boise and had to drive in snow and ice they were all over the road. So I would reccomend them for people looking to save money that live in warmer climates.

Whatever AT tire that's best for snow. Most likely KO2s
My KO2s are awesome in the snow, Duratracs are suppose to be even better.

I prefer the Duratracs for deeper snow due to the void patterns and size, and the KO2s for more compacted snow & ice due to the surface area and sipes... although studs are better for true ice.
Yea the Duratracs are suppose to be even better then the KO2 in the snow. I ended up picking the KO2 over the Duratracs however as they dont make them in a true 35x12.5x17. Also if you want a bigger size then 34" you SOL.

To me the KO2 is hands down the best all around tire. I absolutely love mine.

Like a lot of folks here, I'm a fan on the KO2's...in my case, I think I'll end up with 35's almost immediately and sell off the stock tires. However, I've been taking a look at the General Grabber X3's. Does anyone have any experience with them? Snow performance? Noise?

For my TJ, I run Firestone Destination MT's, which seem to do the trick in most circumstances and I would not hesitate to purchase again (I believe they are pinned for studs). For my recently purchased JKU, I was torn between the Falken Wildpeak AT3 and the Nitto Terra Grappler 2 (P285/70R17 "non-LT"). Most of the dealers recommended the Nitto over the Falken and so I went Nitto. Too early for opinion on the Nitto but happy so far. A few other reasons I went with the Nitto were because of their reputation and weight; I'm only geared for the moment at 3.21 and the Nitto's weigh in at 45 pounds each. Didn't feel the need for a 55 or 60 pound, 8 or 10 ply tire. When I regear, I may consider different rubber and may even jump from 33 to 35. Let's see how the Nitto's run for a year or so.

Hi, Ahmed! We haven't heard from you in awhile. Have you been able to get your JL yet?
welcome DanW
Glad to see you I wish you and the rest of the old members good health and happy life.

Regarding Wrangler so far, it has not reached the Middle East markets and I think so many countries of the world!

I'm waiting for the diesel engine :)

All I know is that out of the LONG list of popular tires I've used, the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W surpasses them all. Best rain traction I've ever had, excellent snow traction (far better than a BFG), relatively quiet, rolls smooth, rugged sidewalls, and priced lower than the others.

Falken is not a "cheap" brand. They have been huge in the offroad world for many years now and have won big events such as King of the Hammers. They do more to support the offroad hobby than any of the other tire brands mentioned early in this thread.

Its neat to see all these reviews from people. The one set of Falken widepeaks I had were the worst set of tires I have ever had the displeasure to own. The new KO2's have been the best so far up here in the mountain snow. The others were downright dangerous. The Duratracs were ok but never again. After about 10k miles the snow traction was non existent. I think the Coopers and the BFG's are probably at the top of the barrel at this point.
