What tires do you prefer?

Some cars become remarkably superior because of the good choice of tires.

Here are some specs for the desired Tires of most people:
- Includes all weather conditions and all the performance and terrain
- Be comfortable and without noise.
- Be good in traction and weights.

Please judge by experience and know what types of Tires you prefer?

For me, Falken Wildpeak AT3W is a very special Tires.

Falken or Sumitumo Rubber is a relatively new brand that I personally would not choose. Tires are the key factor that keeps your vehicle on the road/trail. I wouldn't go cheap on tires. For my money I would stick to the BFGoodrich A/T KO2 or the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. Both of these tires have proven to be good on and off road, plus the quality has been excellent.

I still wish GoodYear made the Wrangler Territory.

IMO best tyre ever made for my needs with the Wrangler (Aggressive Mountain-SnowFlake rated Winter Off-Road Tyre with extra steel and Kevlar for airing down and for extra load [E-rated LT]).

On my old Sahara I ran those both Unstudded in Summer and Studded in Winter, when moved to the Rubicon just kept the stock KMs for Summer with the Studded Territory for Winter.

Wish someone still made a tyre like this;

I like the Duratracs for their bigger voids than the KO2s, but still nowhere near as good as these.

Good tires win advanced capabilities

This suggests that you prefer primarily Michelin BFGoodrich A / T KO2.

As far as Falcon is concerned, I think Wrangler JT has chosen him in her pilot stages.

I have run all sorts of tires on y rigs. I had a set of the Falken aLL terrain the older version and ran 88,000 miles anthem finally took them off even thought hey were not down to the wear bars went to Keely Springfield but by 20k miles they were howling wolf for tires, now running Cooper ATP discount tire version and they are great for almost all things except maybe deep mud.

This is definitely a good option.
If you want to excel from my point of view and close to the above specifications, there are Falken Wildpeak AT3W and Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac.

I prefer the Duratracs for deeper snow due to the void patterns and size, and the KO2s for more compacted snow & ice due to the surface area and sipes... although studs are better for true ice.

I am in a mountainous area close to the coast and the desert and a little north of the area where there is snow in winter time.
There may be a lot of people like me who need tires that are suitable for this situation and are comfortable and low noise while traveling (with relatively heavy weights) in these areas and these tires are suitable for all of the above.

Those Wrangler Territory are good for everything but the ‘Low Noise’ part , as they are as noisy on the highway as they are heavy... and they are both thanks to the big tread lugs and all the layers of steel and kevlar.

The studs of course make it sound like my Wrangler is tap-dancing down the road.

In addition to being heavy and noisy, they hold the stones inside and these are sufficient reasons for the superiority of the Falcon AT3W because it was made with great skill and accuracy.

Build quality is not an issue, the weight is because of the content, falken isn’t rated for anywhere near the same level.

As for the voids holding stones, that they definitely do, but that proves their ability to grab on to thingd like ledges, etc.
When I leave the trailhead, I always zig-zag wide s curve to open up the tread to get rid of the rocks before I get up to speed where they might come off and hit a vehicle behind me,

Again, they aren’t for everyone, but they are unstoppable if you need that.

In any case, Wrangler JT certainly will not risk unclassified tires and have not been well studied on a product they want to offer the world for the first time!

The issue of spaces that carry stones, other than stones, noise, wetness, weight, etc. are important in choosing frames.

I think you weren’t clear in your initial post. I dn’t realize you just looking for opinions on stock tyres for the JL/JT, I thought you meant for the Wrangler in General. My tyres you can’t buy anymore. Stock options I still would prefer Duratracs for the pattern.

As for rating, it is the load rating for the tyres (maximum weight each tyre can carry) and the class ie E-rated LT tyres. Speed rating doesn’t matter as much for AT or MT tyres. In order to get the higher load ratings of the Territory it needs more layers of rubber steel and kevlar, and they also allow for a higher pressure rating to allow for very heavy loading (beyond Wrangler limits to be sure).
