What is this part?

Hi All. First post here.

Can anyone identify this part? I found this part lying unattached behind the driver’s side headlight housing. I removed the housing to replace the halogen with led when the part fell. I inspected another wrangler at the dealer but couldn’t see a similar part (albeit not exact model).

That is a plug put in sub-assemblies to keep debris out during manufacturing and storage. Usually removed and discarded during production, Someone was in a hurry and dropped it.
