What is this dash switch for??

I know the dial to the far right controls dash light brightness, but what is the control to the left of it do?? Looked in the manual and couldn't find any info and messed with it at night while driving and didn't notice anything changing. Thanks for any help w/ this, and ours is a JL Sport w/ S pkg if that matters.

It should adjust footwell and door handle light brightness. It’s very subtle.

Ok, well I knew I had the lights but I never got the dimmer to work. I tried again some more and it does dim them if the Jeep is running. Otherwise they are just lights that come on full brightness when you open the doors, it seems. Thanks for the info, I have played with them so many times but I guess I never tried all of this with the engine running.

Thanks for that thread link, glad others have also wondered what it's for, and even after knowing what it does it's still not easy to identify, lol.
