2020 JLUR, 2022 JLUR XR on the way!😁😁😁
I have a XR on order, it has sat in JB for 16 days, additional equipment being installed. Checked with Jeep Chat this morning and got this-

Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your vehicle is in the stage prior to being released by the plant. Vehicle may have been selected for additional quality inspections or held for delivery purposes. At this time we can advise checking back in a week or so for an update. Congratulations again on the purchase!

Has anyone else got this or know what it means? Thanks

They pick random vehicles in the line to do extra quality checks on as a way to insure line build integrity, it could take up to a month longer when that happens. Mine did not go through that process but I ordered mid December and received it early March to give you some timeline perspective.

JB is the point in the build where the factory extras are added. Things like mopar tailgate "reinforcement", slush mats, sunrider for the hardtop, etc. This is a usual snag point, as it's a wait for parts and I believe the Jeep is sent to a remote facility down the block from the main assembly line, which is where the JB dept is located.

If it was hung up in the final inspection stage, the status would be "I", not JB.
