Not certain, but my guess is that it's for a HAM setup of some kind.

Not Ham radio. Ours are LOOOOOOOONG and skinny. Lol, that one is short and girthy.

I believe that is a weboost cellphone signal booster.

Weeboost cell antenna.

Weeboost is popular, but only adds marginal improvement in most conditions.

That’s a lot of work for marginal cell signal improvement. Looks like he drilled through the roof to mount it. Maybe it works for his needs.

Let's hope they didn't actually drill a hole for that...

I'm seeing another cable in the picture running across the roof and under what looks like a magnet mount. It seems temporary.

If you want to get a good one.. get the older blue Wilson electronic ones... before they toned them down. They work excellent. Changes 1 bar into 5 bars.

And do not use that antenna.. it is junk.
