Maybe this has been a thing for a while and I’m just oblivious, but I’ve noticed trucks like this for I guess the past year or so:

What’s is this called?
Why is it a thing (serious question)?

I have yet to see a Jeep like this. Am I just missing them?

Carolina squat

Urban dictionary has some pretty funny definitions of Carolina squat.
I noticed them a lot when I lived in Jacksonville, but not so much since moving back home to Winston. Maybe we've got more sense up here? :CWL:

Anyways the only time my truck has ever looked like that is when I had it loaded down with a pallet of loop sealant. Probably should have needed a 3/4 truck for that load, I actually had to turn on tow/haul mode.

It’s a California thing. Been seeing it on wannabe Baja racing trucks since the 90s, like Nissan Hardbody, Toyos, Rangers, S10s, etc.

You need to add the Baja fenders though.

I recall hot rods from the 50's squatting then it was the reverse in the 60's and 70's.

Half installed lift? Useless headlights that point at tree tops? Ugly as sin? Take your pick.

To quote Randy Jackson, it's a no from me dawg.
