Love my (3) Wolfbox G940S. Love the stability and durability. The product box is great and a keeper. Service is fantastic being responsive and generous. But don't over develop the dash cams. Keep them simple but reliable. For example... I love a cleaner sans font and vertical lists found in the earlier software versions. Easier and faster to sight capture than versions using icons and Times New Roman style font.

I have an extra camera with glued-on a rare earth magnet to use for in-motion diagnostics but I've never seen it promoted. It's a big help.

Wolfbox G900Pro

Have an update which allows us to remove the "white letters and numbers" on the mirror. During the day it is not such a big deal but in the dark (most of my yearly commute) it is a tad bit annoying. In the 2nd pic below, you see I have covered it up. Recently I have uncovered it because the placement of the mirror is now on my dash. It is easier for me to ignore it there. I will add a pic of its current placement later today. I think this is its final resting place!

Other than that, LOVING IT so far!!! THX.

My wife just bought me the Wolfbox G900 Pro as a Christmas present on the black friday sale. But since I saw the credit card charge, she just gave it to me early when it arrived last night.

But the credit card charge was a foreign transaction from Ireland. And the package says "Made in China" with a manufacturer of "Hangzhou Tanlink Technology Co. Ltd" in China. Did my wife get a Chinese knock-off? I haven't opened it yet. Concerned whether I need to return it or not.

Thanks for your feedback. You can update the firmware to the latest version which allows you hide the clock. You can join our FB group where you can get more info, including the latest firmware.

No, it's not a knock-off. You can open it and make use of it.

I ordered a G850Pro during your black friday sale. Finally got around to installing it.
Upon using it for the first time at night, I found myself wishing it had a dimmer function for those of my fellow road warriors that drive too close with their halogens on. But I can't find anything like this in the settings or manual. Is there a dimmer function or not?

You mean the headlights behind you? Sorry, the rear cam doesn't have that function. If you mount the rear cam on the top, it will reduce much of the glare.

I mounted it on top of my tire carrier. Seriously, a dimmer function would go a long way towards making this one of my favorite add ons. Without it, I have to lower the screen brightness quite a bit, which makes it more difficult to see. The only other gripe I have is that the sun visor is blocked from being used, which defeats the purpose of it.

I've ordered a third-party mounting plate with a 20mm ball receiver on it and I'm just going to mount the wolfbox on the dash using a Bullet Point Mounting ball mount. It'll hopefully arrive soon. I'll post pictures in here once I have it installed. That way I can still use the regular mirror to see the kids in the backseat. And then when the rear camera gets covered in salt spray, which is most of winter, I still have something for a mirror.
