The mounting parts I ordered finally arrived, USPS lost it for a while. Currently I have the Wolfbox installed on the dash, but I haven't ran the wiring yet or hooked up the rear camera. It is still plugged into the cigarette lighter for now. But at least I now have a dashcam. Here's a couple of pictures of it in my garage. It is snowing heavily outside, so I'm working in the garage where it is warmer. Maybe I'll go for a drive in the snow and get some video.

Photo taken from in front of my face, so this would be my perspective, only blocking my view of part of the hood. Maybe a little left based on the content in the actual mirror (phone camera was on that side of the phone). If I wanted to see the hood, I would just need to lean forward a bit.

That install looks clean! No intervention with the sun visor lol

I guess this view from outside the vehicle is needed to see the mounting bracket on the back. It is from 67 designs. Ignore the reflections off the windshield of the hooks and straps hanging from the ceiling. Those are for taking the hard top off from my wife's Gladiator.

Does it not have any video stabilization? It is really bouncy. Every bump in the road shows in the video. Note, I had to reduce the quality of the video in order to be able to post it here, from 100MB to 14MB, but you can still see the bounce in the reduced quality video.

Just got mine the other day and finished the install last night G900 pro. Did the vehicle specific mount its rock solid. Other than a dead hardwire kit it works fine. Customer service sending a new one out. If you guys made a universal adjustable tire carrier mount to put the rear camera above the existing camera that would be cool. Mounted mine with a eBay bracket that I have to modify to work but did the trick. Impressed with the quality of video from the rear camera. Low light worked extremely well

We have the G900. It's a great dashcam. We especially like the rear-cam feature which we use in place of the rear view mirror. It's a game changer for us older folks who don't like driving at night. Plus, Wolfbox customer service is top-shelf!

The screen offers a bright and clear display, and all features, including the Wolfbox Player software with its GPS map tracking capability, are easy to use. The camera resolution is impressive, and both the front and rear recorded videos of street driving are sharp.

Personally, I haven't been too impressed with the rear camera at night. It is always washed out. And with the slightest snow and road grime getting on the lens, it becomes useless. And that's with cleaning it frequently. I am glad I didn't replace my mirror with this and instead dash mounted it. So at night I simply turn the screen off by pressing the red button on the bottom. It still records while the screen is off thankfully.

is the rear camera mounted directly in the elements I bet if it’s slightly sheilded it will be much better

We're working on the rear cam now. You may need something like rainx to spray a little on the lens, which may help.

I have installed a G900 Wolfbox on my Jeep JL with the rear camera on top of the third brake light. I have not noticed a problem with night driving, but I always wipe the rear camera before driving if there has been a lot of ground fog overnight.

Accident results was something the insurance company was interested in.

I too now have mine on top of the 3rd brake light. I REDUCE THE LIGHT GATHERING ABILITY via the menu for all my "dark driving". I have zero complaints with mine up there. It stays substantially cleaner up there compared to the lower spot I had my original. Let me know if anyone wants dark pics. And like @Oakridge88, when I cross behind the JP to get in it each AM, I Lick & Wipe the lens.
