Waze had an update for CarPlay I was able to download yesterday. Installed it. Was not automatically visible in CarPlay. Found this link https://9to5mac.com/2018/09/24/how-to-use-waze-on-carplay/ and it gave clear instructions how to get it to display. Works great. Only used it once but seems really nice.
