Just wondering if it's normal for the 2019 aluminum door panels to be warped/wavey? Just got my JLUR last week and the door panels look like someone had been leaning against them. It's noticable when they have lights shining on them. The metal rear quarters look smooth.

Guess it's just another thing we have to accept. I can't stop noticing it yet.

I walked by mine and also thought it was like someone bumped it but both doors are the same. I'm glad I saw your question because I was going to bring it to the dealer. I didn't know they were aluminum. Thanks.

I know aluminum is thinner and comes in sheets but it still kind of sucks. Oh well.

There is an existing thread on this, confirming it is normal.
Sorry to duplicate, I did search before I posted this and didn't find anything similar.

I think its just the paint. All the ones look like that on the lots if the sun is hitting them just right.

It's not the paint, paint looks great, it's the sheets of aluminum. If it was the paint I'd be taking it back real quick.

Many vehicles have aluminum door skins now days and have the wavy look to them. Its more noticeable on our Jeeps due to the flatness of the panels.
