posted in Ourisman thread in here this morning
Yes the ourisman salesmen emailed me about it today as I was on a wait list. I did not see it posted in another thread but I know there are several of us waiting for this

I am just waiting to see if rockslide will be available now on the MOAB 392. I want the Earl Grey Moab with blue seats, painted fenders and SOT to replace my current sarge green 392

and we get the added benefit of it being a 2027 model year so everything falling into place

I'd be in for something beside black seats. Burgundy seat leather like the Durango Hellcat Silver Bullet or Tan seats like the Brass Monkey. I mean they already have the leather colors :) But I'm dreaming and would like to see what those Rockslide blue seats look like.

Don't forget, I believe the Dana 50 rear axle is available for the 2027 392s. It looks like the trend is wait and see considering the availability of late color Earl, painted fenders and Dana 50 rear axle.

I really like that color, hate the name. It's neither gray, nor tea colored. To me it looks like cenizo, or Texas sage leaves.

Tuscadero isn't really pink, it's more of a berry color, Snazberry would have been much better for it. As it is, Snazberry is more of a maroon that belongs on a Buick.

And Mojito is nowhere near the Jolly Rancher candy color it actually is.

Goldilocks? Why, is it just right?

Anyway, Earle is a great shade of paint, even if the name means nothing in relation to it's actual color. To truly be the correct shade of gray, the leaves are a very dark gray, almost charcoal or mill steel.

I've been waiting for this since my son totaled my '24 Earl Rubi the first week of Feb. Heard it was coming back so I just decided to wait to order a duplicate :)

This was the salvage yards auction pic for it :( Frame was bent and two airbags went off. But my son was perfectly fine besides being shaken up.

As a fan of that recent “wet sharkskin” / “gloss primer” trend …

Sting Gray is a great color, but slightly darker than optimal for that supreme “wet shark” look.

Earl is great, if a little too sage/sky in its undertone to be a true grey, but certainly is a great color. And looks really great on a Wrangler. The sage leaf tone gives it a very natural, outdoorsy, arid Mediterranean climate type vibe.

Glad they brought it back, perhaps this one is slightly more grey, and less sage/sky ? Hence them adding “Gray” to the official title? Maybe they got confused/weird customer feedback from many who didn’t make the association with the bergamot tea ?

In any event, looks great as always.

Has anyone been able to order one? My dealer is telling me I can only get the Rock Slide with a black or white cap top. Super confused. I want another Rubi X.

Cool. I'm trying to order it on Rubicon X so I think I just need to wait and see if they release it fully.

I narrowed it down to Anvil or Earl for my '24 Willys. Picked Anvil and am happy with it, but do still admire the Earls I see out there, very nice and the "Willys" on the hood pops more on the Earl if you like that. The Anvil hides better in the woods if you like that more.

I'll probably go anvil with a whitecap package on the X if I can't get the Earl to replace my totaled Earl. Just really loved the color.

My suspicion is the body color hard top is what is blocking your order. I ordered an Earl Rubicon (not an X) with a black top a couple weeks ago. In another thread I think someone could not order Goldilocks with a body color top.

I tried to build a Willy's Joose and it wouldn't let me add the body colored top. I did find this image in my research so that makes sense. So I guess I just have to build a Rubicon up with the things from the X trim that I want. Didn't really want the black top so I might wait and see what it looks like with the whitecap. Wonder why they won't do body colored top this time.

Also, thank you all for answering my questions. It's a real ordeal ordering one, lol. The '24 I had took 9 months to be built and now all this. I think I will wait until they get the color on the website and see what I do with the build tools.

The frustrating part is you don't know if it will be orderable sometime soon, or not at all before the window for the color closes. That graphic though leads me to believe it won't be.
