Hi all,

Before I beging the task of replacing the front passenger side vvl o-ring on my '18 JL, I was hoping someone could tell me how to disconnect the sensor connector. I know there is a small white tab that slides back and forth but unsure what else is needed. Thanks in advance!

The white tab needs to be pushed back (up) toward engine. Then pull connector off, they can be a bit tight.

Thanks, I was able to pull that white piece all the way off. Once that is done, would I then be able to pry this connector off? I didn't want to force it and those hoses make it difficult to reach as well. Thanks.

Were able to figure it out? I plan to do mine before winter...

Did the VVL solenoid pull straight out or did you need to rotate?

One thing I'm concerned about is all the dirt and gunk around it. It's a pain to clean in that tight little spot.
