Question about voswitch and hooking up to solenoids

I just installed the jl-300 voswitch today and i want to double check on something. I ordered a product like the warn rely solenoid to turn on and off winch. I can run a power wire to the voswitch to trigger the solenoid correct? I don't like having power to the winch all the time.

Yep. You would hook it to activate the solenoid. That was how I did mine using a 15Amp Aux switch.
