Vendors and JL vs JLU

Is it just me or does anyone else get driven crazy by vendors when you're looking for JL mods?
You think you found just the right thing, then discover deep in the fine print that it only fits the JLU and not the JL like it prominently says in bold everywhere else. Makes me want to strangle them for wasting my time.

The JL is not a 4-door, dammit! That's a JLU!
Get your act together so 2dr and 4dr owners can actually find things that they can use without a CSI investigation.

I hear you! Even though the 2doors are the coolest, the 4drs have more cool items available (I guess to make them as cool as us )
It is frustrating when you think you found just what you wanted only to find out you're 2doors shy of that part ?

and FWIW 4drs are almost as cool and from the front or back they are just as awesome!

For me it's not even a matter of whether cool stuff is or is not available. I get it, there are more JLUs out there than JLs. There's more room in JLUs to design cooler stuff. That's fine. Just let me filter out stuff that won't fit my vehicle. And I'm sure JLU owners don't want to accidentally buy something that only fits in a JL either.
Is that really too much to ask?

What really gets me is "FITS ANY JL 2018 & UP!" plastered all over the bold title and then deep in the fine print you find they think every JL has 4 doors. No. It does not fit, you LIE and waste my time!!
That just inspires me to strangle them.

Tread lightly on the bits and bytes and reduce consumption.

Four door is the volume unit, so call that JL. The other one can be the JLM(ini).

Just think about all the 4XE guys haha. Almost every part I've looked at doesn't fit the 4XE
