I have notice on my JL 23 Rubicon small oil leak around on a passenger side from around the valve timing sensor and ignition coils. Went to the dealer and they found nothing (the were looking for a major leak signs underneath). They were pretending that is normal. Jeep has less than 30K. Anybody knows about any TBS regarding this issue ? Now I have found the same problem with my 20 Sahara. Both valve covers are wet. Should I treat this as a "Jeep thing"?

my 2024 oil control solenoid seal started leaking on mine like at 10,000 miles and super easy to replace was like a $10 seal and took 15 minutes to replace...I have had no leaks/seeps around the ignition coils and I am at over 22,000 miles..I have had 5 3.6's and none have seeped around the ignition coils so might be normal for some but certainly not all of them.

just remove the nuts from the brackets so you can move the lines out the way and the one bolt holding the solenoid in place and pull it straight out.. the only difficult part is getting the electrical connector to release..other than that nothing to it. pull the old seal out and put the new one in.

in the first photo near the dipstick...next to the ignition coil... the one on the driver side is much harder to see..on the backside of the engine.
