Anybody out there know how to nudge the driver side axle forward about 1/4"?? Passenger side went in easy. Moved on to driver side and it won't line up.

Might not be the best pic.

I was going to suggest picking it up by the pinion collar to rotate it. Nice problem solving!
I always seem to figure things out 30 seconds after I post, lol. Glad to know I’m not alone.

Jacks and ratchet straps are your friends when working on suspension.

Another method for any future viewers. Chock both wheels on that side. Then push (rotate) the tire on the axle you're trying to move and kick the chock up under it as it moves.

Glad you figured it out. Don't forget to torque those nuts and bolts with full vehicle weight on the tires.

A good quality heavy duty American built bull/drift pin works as well.
Absolutely the best solution. If this doesn’t work, different adjustments are needed. You shouldn’t have to push and pull too hard on reassembly.
