Ok, I am looking for a few 'must have's' when I go to upgrade my latest Jeep (JL Wrangler...Sport...4 door...Automatic).

Right now there are 18" wheels (needs better tires for off-road). Also looking at a 2" MOPAR lift.

I got rid of the front euro-style space between the front bumper and fender. Also, have added Rock Rails.

This is a daily driver...so not looking to go hog wild and sacrifice road time, but do want it to hold up ok off-road.

Suggestions for upgrades? In any particular order?

Thanks.

You going out of state with it? Seem in FL you would be fine with a Rubi set of wheels and tires as well as the Rubi take off suspension. Overall you are looking about at 2" of lift.

Floor mats, lights maybe, winch is a must in my opinion nothing like getting stuck and not having a way to get out.

First thing I did was onboard air. Very handy off road, or to help damsels in distress at the mall. Next was a winch. Since mine is a Rubicon, tires are good and won’t be replaced until these are worn out.

Winches to me are hog wild unless you are going hard core off road. Been doing mild to moderate off road for decades and never had a situation where I needed one. But since you added rock rails maybe you are going to travel somewhere and do some rock climbing. If that is true then maybe a winch would be a possible need. Why a lift? Ground clearance an issue with your planned use? Shocks and lift will compromise the ride of mainly a primarily daily driver.
