Check your USB cable. Are you connected to USB 1 in front or USB 2 in center console? When my car is running and on CarPlay the "UConnect" setting on my iPhone is not connected. Why should it not be connected?

thanks for your reply
Wow thanks for the infoWireless CarPlay and Uconnect don’t play nice together, if you have Wireless Carlplay running and then plug in your phone Uconnect attempts to connect as well as it thinks there are two separate devices so if you want to say charge your phone while using the wireless CarPlay you can plug in the usb cable into the CarPlay dongle if it has one ( mine does ) or and it’s what I do, I have a usb dual connector that converts the 12volt plug in front to a usb connector and it does not interfere with the wireless CarPlay at all.
So is it ok to have my wireless CarPlay connected to my port in the center glove compartment and if needed connect my iPhone charger the same time to the port on the dashboardWireless CarPlay and Uconnect don’t play nice together, if you have Wireless Carlplay running and then plug in your phone Uconnect attempts to connect as well as it thinks there are two separate devices so if you want to say charge your phone while using the wireless CarPlay you can plug in the usb cable into the CarPlay dongle if it has one ( mine does ) or and it’s what I do, I have a usb dual connector that converts the 12volt plug in front to a usb connector and it does not interfere with the wireless CarPlay at all.
