I am looking to upgrade my base radio in my 2018 sport to a 7" uconnect out of a newer Jeep. What do I need to know to make this happen as painless as possible?

There's really nothing to it. Be sure to get the 7 inch radio for the JL, the radio bezel and the radio unlock code. Install should be plug-and-play.
