UConnect Services Question

Just purchased 2019 JLU Sahara that has 7” Uconnect stereo. My rear view mirror does not have an assist button on it.

I have received mixed info from dealer, but it is my understanding I cannot use the UConnect features such as remote door locks or remote start with my model as I cannot register it per the Mopar instructions. Trying to understand what functionality I have versus if there is an issue.

I have that service but it rarely works. The app is never up to date, sometimes days behind. It’s a terrible service. Viper has a much more dependable system. There are some others out there as well.
