UConnect Issue on 24 4xe Rubicon

Received software update message from UConnect and directed to call toll free number. No help whatsoever and they told me any update needs to be at a dealer.
Called the dealer and service rep did not know of any recent issues.
After starting car stereo system would buzz really loud and then screen would go black eventually restarting and everything working fine. This has happens multiple times. Anyone else experiencing this same scenario?

What year/screen size? Also, might get more replies posting in the audio/electronics forum instead since the radios are not specific to the 4xe.

I _am_ getting constant ads for SirusXM every tine I start the Jeep, though. Hate, hate, hate.

There is a way to turn off those XM ads in settings....

I just went through every screen of the settings and can't find anything that seems to be that. If you know where I should be looking, I'd love to know it.

notices app. you can delete any "ad" you get. it won't stop you from getting new ones, but it'll prevent the current ones from constantly re-appearing.

Sadly, no.

The Notices app shows no notices, and tge ad still comes up when I start the vehicle.

really weird, all notices dl'd to the vehicle should show up in that app for deletion

Did the "hold both round buttons" reboot on the uConnect and the ad still came up on the restart.

Ugh.

Just noticed there's a different app called "Stored Notifications"; the Sirus ad was in that and had a delete button.

Hope that works.

Thanks. I just had the sirius ad myself and also didn't see it in notices. I hate how terrible the app layouts are.

Well, deleting it there did not make it go away.

_Trying_ to delete it again, but the click going to the "call Sirius" button for some reason _does_ seem to have made it go away though. At least, for now.

Odd, that.
