Thanks for responding. We definitely don’t have that. I wonder if there is a setting somewhere.
You might have to subscribe to connected services to have that function. Seems like you'd still have the free trial though. Maybe they didn't set that up at the dealership or used the wrong email to activate. You can call them to get it fixed. The dealer fat fingered my email but a call cleared that up. If I remember correctly, I just hit the Assist button in the Jeep.

Yes, we're fully subscribed, but our SOS and Assist don't work. All other connectivity functions work. Maybe that's why we don't get the trip info? We're 3 weeks and 2 cases open with Jeep Connect, and they can't figure that out. We have to take it into the dealer as the next step.

I appreciate the follow-up.

I just spoke to the dealership. He said that their technician says that my Jeep needs a new radio. They have no ETA of when a radio will be available, but I am on a list. He said that the Uconnect is part of the radio. I guess we will see what happens Until then. The only way I can use CarPlay without it disconnecting and reconnecting is to not be able to use it wirelessly and have to plug my phone in.

I just posted the same error here as I've been having this error for more than a year. Did you get a new radio and did it fix the issue? That is the only thing that hasn't been replaced in my Jeep. Thanks

I have not heard anything from the first dealer that I took my Jeep to. I have been dealing with another dealer for probably the last 2 1/2 weeks. They have performed the TSB, which was checking all of the connections. They said it was ready to go. I came to pick it up as soon as I went to get in it Uconnect box needs service message pops up on the radio. I go back in and tell them and they order me a Telematic box. I went to pick it up today, as soon as I got in it, Uconnect box needs service message on the radio. I left the vehicle running and went back in and their technician took it and scanned it again. This code which they did not tell me what it was was something different than what they’ve got before. They have now ordered a cellular module that from what he explained is above your rearview mirror where the SOS and assist is.

Thank you for the update, can you please keep me posted on the progress? The advisor I have been working with is out until Monday, so I'll ask him about that. I know for sure they have not replaced the cellular module on mine, so I'm inspired by this potentially being the culprit.

Great news, I did not fix the issue, but I believe it no longer shows the error or the red lights if you just unplug the telematics box, which is under the footwell of the driver's side. I found this link with the video, and after my first start of the vehicle, no error and no lights, so great news. I don't think we have any real use for the SOS or Assist buttons, so I'm fine with it not being plugged in if I don't get annoyed every time I start the car.

So after unplugging it, does the wireless CarPlay/android auto still work? If you subscribe to Sirius XM does that still function?

Android Auto works perfectly, but from other threads, I don't think Sirius works. I don't use it so I can tell you from personal experience.
