I have a 2022 JLUR with the Alpine system. Has worked great since new and I now have 17k miles. the last couple of days the screen gets very hot to the touch and locks up on occasion after 40 minutes or so. It will eventually go black, I assume it shuts down because of a high temp sensor. Several minutes later, the system resets and comes back. I searched for this specific problem, I’m finding other Uconnect issues that seem to be related to older SW bugs But nothing quite like this. Seems like i am destined for a service call with the dealer but would like to know if others have seen this problem and what was the outcome?

I don't have the Alpine, but you should absolutely bring it in and let them replace it under warranty.

Not something I've seen but the uconnect 8.4 is known for screen failures. Go ahead and get it replaced while it's still under warranty.
