Issue with head unit display: Growing stain, peeling?

The display works as usual, but this strange spot keeps growing and growing. There was no reason for this spot to appear, moisture did not get in, there were no extreme temperatures either, perhaps the usual sun.

Has anyone encountered this?

You are not the 1st with this issue. Delamination, other screen issues have been reported here over the last 3 yrs..

That radio will need to be replaced. Make a dealership appt. and get it in there. May take a while to get a replacement. Yes, it is coverred under warranty.
