Can someone explain why two almost identical 2026 Rubicons would have different prices for the same options? I have been comparing two similarly equipped vehicles and noticed different pricing on their window stickers for the same options.

For example: Car 1 Car 2
850RE w/adaptive cruise $3000 $4500
Alpine audio $995 $1595
Conv group $0 $1295
Tech group $695 $895

Why would these discrepancies exist?

They reduced the prices for Wranglers recently. One was probably built and printed before the price reduction and the dealer wants to make more money.

One is a 2025 and one is a 2026?

No they are both '26s but one has been on the lot for three months and the other a week.

I purchased a new 2026 Rubicon 4-door just 5 days prior to the MSRP/options reduction. I noticed they weren't giving same discounts after the change, so it's all the same. If Jeep doen't want to offer such huge discounts, they need to bring the msrp down. They are moving in rigth direction.

What's the total cost for each vehicle? Equipped same is total same? Jeep is good at changing pricing year to year on same options. And also with packages of same year. Jeep always plays a pricing game. Like they have with the engine/transmission combos. They used to give a credit for the 2.0 and then just adjusted the option price. The 8sp I've seen iirc like $4500 to $2500 pricing. Silly games.

That is incorrect. I got the new greatly reduced sticker price AND $4,000 incentive rebate from Jeep. The incentives were exactly the same for the pre and post MSRP reduction vehicles. I got 4% under invoice plus the $4K incentive from Fitzpatrick Jeep.

the prices are just made up on the fly, don't think too much into it.

Its not incorrect because I got $11,000 off msrp on my October-built 2026, $50,000 instead of $61,000 msrp (before even discussing trade-in), which is Jeep incentives plus dealer markdowns. If the msrp dropped on December built 2026's, the discounts would have to be less to compensate. It's a wash.

Its normal not? That for top line the adding for example keyless entry is cheaper that adding it to the base. For rubi is 500 and for sport 800.

A perfect example of the arbitrary nature of the pricing vs the actual cost to Jeep to add the item to the Wrangler. They lose a little profit here, make it up over there, etc.

My Jeep was built in August and it has the "Car 2" pricing structure....but it's also labeled a 2025 model. Shortly thereafter the pricing decreased substantially as the '26s started being built. Apparently from this post there were a few 2026s built before the new pricing officially took effect.
