Hello I have a 2021 Jeep wrangler sport with factory halogen lights. I just replaced the halogen’s with led switch backs. I used my J-Scan and reset all the setting to led active. Since then the error message will not go away even when I put the factory bulbs back in. The j-scan message keeps saying control short circuit to battery or open. That message stays even if I use my j-scan to delete the message. Confused as to why the error message want be removed even when i reinstalled the factory bulbs. Please help

I’ve tried everything to erase the error message and everything I’ve tried the message after 20 seconds of the turn signal being on comes back. Don’t understand. I followed a YouTube video on home to cut the light monitor off so it want trip error codes and still it trips the error code. I’ve even installed led load resistors and still have the error code. The lights I used are Alla Lighting 7443 switchbacks for my 2021 Jeep wrangler sport. I went with all of Alla lights the headlights turn and fog lights. And they weren’t cheap. Thanks

Do the lights work at all?

It's possible, if you powered them up before adding load resistors, you blew a fuse or the module.

The code description you're getting is saying that once commanded, the module is not seeing any current draw. So, the circuit is either open to the battery (blown fuse) or shorted (Also, blown fuse). If the fuse did its job, you should just be able to replace it. If it didn't, then the module likely took the hit.

How did you wire in the resistors? Do the lights work? The code set for both sides?

Yes the lights work. And I wired them according to the instructions. I tested the wires and found the positive for the turn signal and connected one end to it and one to the ground wire for the light connector.

Update:
Thanks for anyone who read and replied.
I finally got them to work with no error message in the dash. Not sure why but I went back into the j-scan led light settings menu. Went down to the front turn light diagnostic present setting. Never did anything to this setting before but for kicks went in to check it. It had deactivated listed so I just hit deactivated again and hit ok and rebooted the system. Turned the key off got out closed the door waited for two minutes to make sure the system went to sleep. Then got back in turned it on waited for the system to start tried the turn signals and they worked without an error code being tripped!!!!!!
I’m going to give this week using them and if anything changes will update.
Thanks again for all that read and responded. Love this forum

Update: neither the error code or hyperflash lights come back on all week. So I’m assuming I was able to trick the computer and fixed the issue.
Thanks again
