Turn off the lights?

Dimmer switch next to the headlight switch.

That only works if the DRL or headlights are on, which makes light and is not dark. I may not want people see my lights in the particular field I was in. Or I may not want to illuminate other people at camp sites when I am at a campsite and want to look at stars.

I just tested and validated what the OP suggests: With the Start button in the ACC position and with the radio on, the dashboard instrument illumination remains fully lit. The related rheostat control has no effect here.

Agreed, I hate not being able to have radio on and total dark inside and out...annoying and on my 2025 there's no way to black out. Every vehicle I've owned in the past you could have key on engine off and dash lights plus parking lights OFF!

Will JScan take care of this?

It doesn't appear to be an option in JScan.
