Turn off instrument panel?

Is there any way to turn off the instrument cluster when in ACC mode. I was at the drive-in last night with the radio on for audio and could not find any way to turn it off. I just had to cover it with cardboard.

I believe the Tazer Mini has a “dark mode” that turns all the lights off (I’ve always wondered how this feature would be helpful). Kind of spendy gadget just to turn lights off for an occasional drive-in though.

Mind as well get bigger tires along with it so you can use the speedo calibration setting or change the gearing or something to make it worth getting a Tazer. ?
