One week after getting my JLUR, had a lift put on it. While on the lift, the mechanic noticed that the transport truck cranked down on the chain pretty damn hard and literally bent down the hole in the frame with the tow hook.
Sent a pic and email to the dealer. Nothing. Called yesterday and left a message with someone. Nothing.

Go get muddy and don't look back Seriously, what do you want them to do? It's not affecting anything.

I’m kinda with the OP here. I would be very upset with that as I expected a brand new vehicle. I can’t imagine to many here would be ok if this was their own ride.

I’m more annoyed that the owner of the dealership (who I dealt with) hasn’t gotten back to me. You might not be able to see it in the picture but that’s not a dent. That bottom part, the width of the hook literally cut the metal on both sides and that portion is folded back. The guy who worked on my Jeep (who is a Jeep specialist) said he doesn’t think it will have a negative effect on the frame, however, he said he wouldn’t leave it like that. He would weld a metal plate in there.

I take back my comments and I deleted them. I agree that if it was me, and it was a brand new Jeep, and it is already damaged, and it needs welding........................NO FRIGGIN' WAY.

A few years ago I bought a 6x10 cargo trailer. When I went to get it and sign the papers, they had "accidentally" put a big hole in the front with their forklift. They said they would fix it at no charge and give me $300 back, but I said no, I bought a new trailer, I want a new trailer. So they gave me another, brand new trailer with an upgraded rear door no less for the same price.
