Transmission tick/rattle when stopped.

I recently picked up a 2020 EcoDiesel and I just noticed that when I'm in Park or speed there is a distinct rattle or tick coming from the transmission or very close.

This sound does not sound like the engine and is not consistent, only when stopped or in park.

I haven't been around another Diesel Wrangler to determine whether this is normal or not.

2020 Wrangler with 30k miles.

Anyone have any insight?

Check the bracket that holds the DPF. It is bolted to the transmission. The weld on mine broke and caused an awful rattle at idle speeds.

I'll check it out.

I got about halfway under the Jeep trying to locate the sound and it seems as if it is coming from the area around where the torque converter mates to the engine but I could be mistaken.

I'll be back around the Jeep in about 3 weeks. Ugh

Listening to the videos on the other thread, I will bet that this is exactly what my issue is.

I just recently started having this issue with my 21 wrangler diesel. Bracket holding the dpf to the transmission. Weld broke
