I have a 2025 Rubi on order to replace my 2012 Rubi. On the 2012, the transfer case shift cable has plastic bushings on both ends. These are prone to break (usually on the trail) and I am curious if Jeep ever upgraded the bushings to something more substantial?

No answer from the group so I did what I should have done in the first place and researched the issue. I found the plastic bushing is available for model years 07 through 18. So... I am assuming that this is no longer an issue with the 2019 model onward.

All I can say is I've read this forum every day for a few years and never heard of this problem, so it's looking favorable.

I say my 24 4x4 shifter is the smoothest shifting of 5 jeeps since 2013.
