Trailer-Tow Package benefits?

Just curious whether having opted for the Trailer Tow package for my 2023 Sport S means that battery/alternator combo might have bought me more time before I'll need to replace the battery? I don't have any warning signs yet, but going into my third year with the stock setup, I know it's only a matter of time.

Can anyone else who opted for the Trailer Tow package confirm or deny whether it bought them any more time before they needed to replace their battery(ies)?

3 years seems to be a fairly common battery life from what I have read on threads, mine needed replacement right at 3 years, but only 1 H-7. Little prior notice like sluggish starts. My GC’s battery gave no indication, started fine, until it didn’t and barely started, but after 8 years…. The don’t make them like they used to ?

We made it exactly 2 years before our 12V battery was replaced under warranty.

The Renegade made it a year, Cherokee a few, and Grand Cherokee 1½.

Moral of the story: Mopar batteries are total crap. Replace with ACDelco and you're set for 5+ years.

My 2022 Willys 3.6 came with the trailer tow package and has the 94R larger AGM battery and small aux battery. I just removed the aux battery and the main battery is still going strong. I am guessing I will be replacing it next year.

My 4xe is an October 2021 build, the original battery was still going strong, as of last week.

However the 4xe has been parked at a dealership lot in subzero temps awaiting a new HV battery, and will probably be left there for a month, so I'm guessing the battery will finally die.

I actually never had premature battery failure on any of my 6 Wranglers, but I never stressed the batteries, like others usually do.

Anyone know if that battery dies at the dealership, if I can take my own bought battery and have them use that, instead of them putting in a Mopar?
