Trail run tomorrow?

Last time we did Cleghorn we talked about a future trip there but running it east to west. It's a bit odd that Trails Offroad has the trail listed that way but I've only ever seen people run it from west to east starting off the 15.

I’ve only done it west to east starting at the 15 fwy.

Agree—odd.

Not sure what one can do if you encounter people going the “normal” way in those long, narrow segments on the eastern end with no room to pass. That’s a lot of backing up.

The chute is pretty hairy. I passed on it when I went on Cleghorn. @pigpen and @Sidewalk were the only ones that did it in our group.

The Chute took out my rear passenger metal fender which is why I have have plastic ones now.

Yeah a bit concerned about that. I guess the best thing to do would be to go early on a weekday with less chance of running into another group.

OR maybe take it west to east until you get to the split after the towers and turn around since from there to the 15 there aren't really many obstacles.

You can submit trails to the BOH app although I've never gotten any of my submissions approved. I submitted both Jeep Miller Trail and Dishpan and never heard back. Can't hurt to try though for Cleghorn. The more people that submit maybe ups the chances.

I’ve done very few BOH but I would think they wouldn’t do cleghorn because you can do the whole thing without doing any of the off chutes. Not that you can’t go to any boh location and just register for it but you know what I mean lol.
