I am trying to tell you what to do. I own a TPMS shop and have been selling them for 12 yrs. I can’t help any further and not going to argue with you about rubber valves. I wish you the best.
I did what you said and no change. As far as the valves go, not trying argue just educate myself.

The TPMS system on the JL is kinda picky, when you start swapping wheels and tires from what it originally came with you have to deal with problems, my suggestion is have the tires all scanned to ensure that the TPMS sensors are there as stated you cannot tell by looking at the stems, if you truly don’t want the TPMS annoyance then have a local shop take all the sensors out and I believe all you have to deal with then is the idiot light being on but have heard from someone here awhile back that with all sensors gone after a few miles of driving that even goes away but I can’t verify that.

The other option is a JSCAN or Tazer and just turn it off
