In a previous post I was asking about tires and I have had suggestions to look for Rubicon wheel and tire take offs. If I find a set of takeoffs from a Rubicon that are newer than my 2019 wrangler will the TPMS senors that are in the takeoffs work on my 2019 or will I need to have the TPMS changed out as well?
Thanks

@MorrieC

In early June of 2021 (6/5/21) JL's started leaving the factory with Continental brand TPMS's rather then Schrader brand TPMS's like JL's had leaving the factory in earlier times did.

Takeoffs from a Wrangler JL leaving the factory after 6/5/21 will be a no go for your 2019 JL in regard to TPMS's.

IF you do buy newer takeoffs ....Consider going to www.tpmsbargains.com @Goin2drt (decent pricing... and their stock is always fresh, known not to be counterfeit and they have very good customer support) and buying a set of new TPMS sensors and then have your local tire shop pull the old sensors and install the new ones.

Also, you can turn off TPMS with a Tazer JL or JSCAN until you acquire the proper TPMS sensors..

Thank you so much for the information an link. I found some takeoffs and give them a try.
If they don't work I will have new TPMS sensors put in.
Thanks
