TPMS and Offroading

So I have a nail in my tire and the TPMS trips at 29 and below. This got me thinking about my first airdown for offroading and will the sensor remain on the whole time? I thought I saw something about it disengaging of in 4lo? What is the real answer?

My light stays on, but I think the chime stops after the first alert. I haven’t done much, so if you restart your engine it might chime again. Whatever it does, I don’t notice with all the other lights on.

You should look into getting a Z Automotive Tazer Mini. It will allow you to change your TPMS settings and also turn it off if you don't want it on. I'm using one and there are so many great things you can do with it.

Light stays on, I believe it chimes on each start up, but as others have said it's so unnoticeable it's not something to concern yourself with.

The light stays on. Once you air back up and get above 32#, I think, it resets and turns back off.
