Hi
Does anyone know what bolt/nut go through the TOP of the tow hook reinforcement into the chassis as circled on the below pic?

I know the tow hook goes through the bottom but the top I believe goes into the chassis to provide lateral stability for the tow hook. Which bolt/nut fastens it there?

thanks

I just took my front bumper off a few days ago so I sort of remember. LOL

They are bolts (do not recall the size off hand) that thread into the frame directly. No nut required.

I will see if I can find the bolt to give you the size you need.

I think the outside and inside ones are different length. You need both?

I believe it's an M10 bolt.

So just to confirm, x4 M10 bolts needed, no matching nut.

Couple of different length bolts needed though depending on which of the reinforcements being fastened (inner or outer).

The reinforcement looks sandwiched by this part circled. Is that a standard part or aftermarket that goes OVER the reinforcement.
Sorry for the questions. UK owner here changing a bumper.

thanks for your help.

So that bottom bolt that you can see the head of in the red circle? It goes thru that reinforcement. The tow hook is to the right of the picture. That rectangular vertical part with the zip tie around it was added to mount fog lights. It's not stock.

Last question I promise. I may be being stupid, but the pic shown doesn’t look 150mm in length (15cm / 5.9 inches).

is the pic of the same bolt?

many thanks

Sorry about that. I was thinking that seemed long this morning. I took my bolt out and gave it to a guy at a parts store to match-up. They didn't have a do it yourself thread gauge and I didn't process what he told me into inches. It's 1.25" long or about 30 to 35mm. I'd say a standard 30 would work since the factory ones have a lead-in section that's not threaded. A little longer shouldn't be a problem. There's room in there for more bolt.
