You got me thinking now.
From the specs I have seen, I thought the bfgoodrich were rated/good for up to 8.5” rims. I could be wrong.
Will look into it. Thanks
Hi all
I have a UK JL Rubicon which comes with 255 75 17 MT tyres as stock and lower fender flares like the US Sahara.
I am looking at black wheels (to match the colour of the Jeep) with an offset that sits more flush than the current wheels - which seem to sit inboard the fender flares about...
Hi all
Any idea where to look for method wheels in UK?
Quite like the look of 305 wheel and they do it in a +25 offset so should be flush or just within the fender flares which is what I would prefer.
I am looking to stick to the existing 255 75 17 MT tyres with no lift so get full articulation...
I think the max I would go to is 33 at moment but I think I would be happy with a set of black alloys with same mud terrain tyres I have at present (stock rubicon 32’s) but with wheels that have an offset that makes the tyres flush with edges of fender.
If that makes sense.
Bumping this thread to see if any new additions.
considering changing my Rubicon wheels but don’t want to lift at this stage.
Considering alloys with an offset which provides a slightly wider stance(fitted with my standard 32” M/T
OR
Fitting 33” tyres.
Anyone tried different wheels with same...
Hi
here’s the link:https://owners.mopar.eu/jeep/jeep-uk/en/login
I spoke to the dealership this morning and they checked on their system to confirm it’s 3 years warranty, 3 years for paint and 7 years (I think) perforation.
This is also backed up on Jeep UK website.
Thanks
UK Jeep owners:
My Jeep is approaching x2 years old from the day I bought it brand new.
I believe I’ve got as standard a x3 year warranty (split as x2 years Jeep coverage, and x1 year retailer, both covering all you would imagine with genuine parts, labour etc).
The Jeep website also states x3...
Hi
Does anyone know of a reasonably priced replacement for the Rubicon valve cap and where to get it from?
I fell off my chair when I rang the dealership and he quoted.
I see there are close alternatives but they don’t quite cover the full stem.
I have a set of new take-off mopar tow hooks from a JT Gladiator Mojave available.
These are in orange.
Looking for ÂŁ50 ONO.
These can be posted. They weight quite a bit but will be postable (can get a price for posting if interested).
Last question I promise. I may be being stupid, but the pic shown doesn’t look 150mm in length (15cm / 5.9 inches).
is the pic of the same bolt?
many thanks
The reinforcement looks sandwiched by this part circled. Is that a standard part or aftermarket that goes OVER the reinforcement.
Sorry for the questions. UK owner here changing a bumper.
thanks for your help.
So just to confirm, x4 M10 bolts needed, no matching nut.
Couple of different length bolts needed though depending on which of the reinforcements being fastened (inner or outer).
Hi
Does anyone know what bolt/nut go through the TOP of the tow hook reinforcement into the chassis as circled on the below pic?
I know the tow hook goes through the bottom but the top I believe goes into the chassis to provide lateral stability for the tow hook. Which bolt/nut fastens it...
Hi Howi
As per our PM discussion i'm looking for one with all the internals for holding the parking sensors in place.
@Redwulf, are you still looking to get rid of yours?
Hi
For those of you who have fitted front bumpers with red front tow hooks I'm looking for some help.
The Tow hooks require x2 (per hook) black reinforcement brackets. I see the nut and bolt that are part of the tow hook fasten to this. No problem.
At the TOP of the black reinforcement...
Service have closed for the day over hear now.
will ask on Monday if nobody on here knows for sure.
Looking underneath my Jeep it looks the same part to me but then there maybe subtle differences that I wouldn’t notice.
