The ichart within the link to the instructions I posted shows different bolt sizes and torque specs for rear UCA to axle and frame. Assuming it’s accurate

200 ft/lbs seems crazy but never know.
That bolt is an M16-sized bolt, which is .6299", just slightly over 5/8ths. 200 ft-lbs is totally reasonable. If you aren't a gym rat and eat too many tacos, you might need a bigger torque wrench or a cheater bar, but it's reasonable.

I contacted AEV thru their portal and this is their response. I did ask why they don't update their instruction sheet and no response.
Case Subject: torq specs on 2024 JL's

Update Date: 10/24/2024 12:02:33 PM EST

Comments from AEV Tech Support:

Hello Jeff,

You should use the MOPAR torque specs when reassembling the rear control arms. 2018-2022 use a different torque rating than the 2023+ vehicles.

Thank you,

Sean

so are you sure about the size of the bolts. my front lowers are in fact 16mm but my rear control arm bolts are not 16mm they are 14mm. I just went to re-torq them to the higher spec but they did not look nearly as beefy as the fronts so I measured them and they are not 16mm but in fact only 14mm. I wonder when the change was made? mine is a jan of 24 build

I have given up for now. I am returning to school for my last manufacturing course in December, and the guy I wheel with while at school says he can fix it. We will see. At this point, I stopped caring. I haven't had lockers for the last two years, and I have done some ass puckering shit without them. As you know, without lockers, it is even more about picking the right lines or wenching if you can't get over. I plan to put D60s on my front and rear in two years, so I do not want to pour too much more effort into what I currently have.

I just went off the torque sheet you posted. A 200 ft-lbs is reasonable for that size of a bolt. I have a 2022 so your bolt size may be different, or the sheet may be wrong.

My 2024 has 14mm not 16mm on rear control arms

I wouldn't go torquing the M14 bolts for the rear control arms to 185ft lbs. You'll be buying new bolts

I agree..I wonder why some 24's have 14mm (mine) and others 16mm at the rear?
