I have a Clayton Overland kit in the garage ready for install and was planning to start tonight or tomorrow. However, I took my Jeep in this week for the steering TSB. The dealer agreed that the TSB replacement was appropriate and has the part on order. The dealer expects the part to take a month to arrive.

Should I wait for the steering to be repaired before lifting or plow ahead? I asked the service advisor if it mattered and he said it didn’t, but I don’t always trust the dealer.

Thanks!

Go ahead and do it. You won't run into any issues with your steering box getting replaced because of your lift.

This was true for me...dealer ordered the steering box 2 weeks ago after seeing mine lifted with 37s + alot of other mods.
